Hello, my name is Infalle.
I'm a furry. That is, I belong to the furry fandom and roleplay an anthropomorphic animal. More specifically, a vixen.
I'm an atheist. I really do mean atheist. I really do not believe that there is a god. In fact I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one.
I'm not agnostic. If I die and there really is a god and it further turned out that this this "Just in case" attitude impressed him, then I think I would choose not to worship him anyway.
A lot of people try to tell me that the belief that there is not a god is just as irrational as belief that there is a god, and also try to argue that belief that there is not a god is still a blief, and that atheists are as religious as believers.
I don't see what belief has got to do with it in the first place. I believe that the world is round. I believe, or do not believe, that my mother did not misplace her purse.
These seem to me to be legitimate uses for the word believe. As a carapace for the protection of irrational notions from legitimate questions, however, I think that the word has a lot to answer for. So, I do not believe-that-there-is-no-god. I am, however, convinced that there is no god, which is totally different.
Apart from being an atheist I'm a technophile and enjoy martial arts. I've currently got a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and have started to learn Kung Fu, which I find more to my liking. The only thing I really enjoy doing that hasn't got to do with computers is yugioh, which is an addicting stratagistic trading card game. I'm proud to say that I've managed to get into the German Championships in the game after coming first in the Regional Tournament. Anybody interested in the game is welcome to take me on, either over skype or over an instant messenger.
Music:
I'm addicted to three bands. Radiohead, which is beautiful (if depressive), Tenacious D, which is hilariously funny and Muse, which for some reason always reminds me of stories based in the Chakat Universe. So its my favourite by far.
Stories:
First and formost I'm addicted to furry literature. Especially the stories hosted on the chakat website.
Secondly I enjoy:
Douglas Adams - The Hitchikers Guide series.
Terry Pratchett - The discworld series.
Antony Horrowitz - The Alex Rider series.
J.R.R Tolkien - The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit.
Garth Nix - Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen.
Tom Holt - The portable door.
Eoin Colfer - The Artemis Fowl series.
Jonathen Stroud - The Bartimaeus Trilogy.
Philip Pullman - His Dark Materials.
Anne McCaffrey - The Dragon Riders of Pern series.
